PORTLAND - Acclaimed, emerging singer-songwriter Will Dailey is bringing his soulful blend of deeply felt poetry, emotional resonance and finely-spun melodies to The Big Easy on Sunday, Dec. 30 at 9 p.m. A Boston native and winner of 2006 Boston Music Award for best male singer/songwriter, Dailey's debut album Back Flipping Forward was released on Oct. 2, by CBS Records. On the release, Dailey shows his eclectic influences, from Tom Waits to early Rod Stewart, while conveying a sound that is fresh and contemporary and, as one reviewer stated, "You hear a long forgotten master being channeled here."
