Summary
As a dissenting member of the Farmington Fire Apparatus Committee, I want the taxpayers and voters to realize that there were several issues that were raised concerning the purchase of the new fire apparatus proposed by the Farmington Fire/Rescue. I am asking that community members join me in voting against this purchase until further options have been explored. Stop them "saving" the town money by spending ours!
I personally feel that this town has spending issues and that a purchase of unneeded apparatus at this time - high prices for oil, gas, food, etc. - can be seen as an insult to the taxpayers that are already faced with hard financial times.See the full content of this document
