United Way Seeks Funds to Help Crash Victim

FARMINGTON - The United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is accepting donations for the Adam Bennett family. Bennett, an electrician for SW&B in Jay, was critically injured in car accident last week. He remains in a coma at Central Maine Medical Center, said Nancy Morgan, executive director of the United Way.

Bennett, 29, of Corinna, was on his way home from work May 14, after finishing a night shift when his pickup collided with an unloaded tractor-trailer. He was traveling east on Macomber Hill Road and failed to yield at the intersection with Route 133.
