BRUNSWICK - In anticipation of her upcoming CD release, "Invocation," due out next month, independent recording artist and singer/songwriter Kate Schrock will give a free concert at 7 p.m. Friday, June 29, at Borders Books and Music Cafe.
Shrock has released five albums on her own Kakelane Music Label. Her songs have been featured in the TV show "Felicity," as well as in Stephen King's film "Carrie 2." Her musical style blends roots rock, jazz and gospel with a pop angle.
