WILTON - James Prescott of New Sharon was honored Friday at Mt. Blue Agway for achieving his Master Technician certification for John Deere products. An employee of Mt. Blue Agway for the past five years, Prescott is the first one from the Northeast division to receive this top honor in the technician field.

Prescott, who has taken courses through John Deere University for the past three years, has 25 years experience as a small-engine technician.
