SALEM - The Salem Fire Department Auxiliary and the Salem Pine Tree Club are seeking donations for the Salem Founder's Day auction to be held Saturday, July 8, as part of Founder's Day events. They request no box lots, used clothing or animals. Pick-up is available. For more information or pick-up, call 678-2993 or 678-2874.

Narrow Gauge String Band will return to the Salem Community Building at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 9. The show will feature old-time country western music. A donation box will be at the door and homemade refreshments will be on sale. It is sponsored by the Salem Pine Tree Club.
