Edward Little's Saturday got off to an inauspicious start when star senior guard/nose tackle Grady Burns went down on the opening kickoff with a broken ankle.
Burns had to be carried to the sideline by some teammates and remained there until United Ambulance arrived. The game was delayed for several minutes while he was fitted with an air cast, then carted to the ambulance on a stretcher to applause from fans on both sides of the field.
