Dear Sun Spots: I am hoping that Sun Spots can assist me concerning an unresolved issue with a local car dealership. I have exhausted all means of settling my issue with their customer service department.
I brought my Jetta to their service department due to a recall. I requested additional services, including an inspection sticker, oil change and tire rotation. Upon reviewing my invoice, I noticed the statement 'right side glove box hinge is broken.' My glove box was intact prior to the mechanic opening it to retrieve my registration. When I addressed this with the company, they completely disregarded my claims that they were responsible for the damages caused to my car and told me they couldn't help me because it's a common problem and neither the dealership nor Volkswagen will authorize repair.See the full content of this document
