PORTLAND - The Portland Symphony Orchestra will present "It Is Enough," a program of music by Brahms, Berg and Sibelius with a solo performance by PSO concertmaster Charles Dimmick on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
"It Is Enough" will open with Brahms' lively Academic Festival Overture, composed in 1880 as a thank-you to the University of Breslau for awarding the composer an honorary doctorate; it's based on boisterous student drinking songs of the time.See the full content of this document
