Summary
AUBURN - It was a grueling 3-game series for BT Pallet, champion of the National Division of the Lewiston Rec Men's Softball League. Pallet was taking on Auburn Players League king, Major Automotive, for the "A" Twin City Championship at Pettengill Park.
In Game 1 Monday, it was 11-11 after the regulation 7 innings. Pallet struck for 8 runs in the top of the ninth but Major staged a rally of its own, 4 runs in the bottom of the frame, but fell short in dropping a 19-15 decision. Winning pitcher Scott Corriveau aided his cause wtih a 3-run home run. Heath Crocker belted a 2-run job.
