AUBURN ? John Lapoint hitched 200 feet of oil containment boom to a speedboat, cruised around Range Pond, caught it all on film and sent that video Friday to oil giant BP in what Lapoint hopes is the last hurdle in getting his company, Packgen, approval for orders to the Gulf of Mexico.
