George Buker, right, tells his story of pushing for paved roads as a lifelong resident of Minot during the town meeting on Saturday. Buker's story was pertinent to Saturday's meeting because Sandy Dubuc, standing, and her husband, Don, sitting to the left of Buker, fought to have funds approved to pave Hadfield Road. The measure lost, and the Dubucs will continue to live on a dirt road. Albert Greenwood listens at far left.
