AUBURN - Maxine Thorace Nadeau, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep of lung cancer after a brief stay at the Hospice House in Auburn, Friday, Aug. 4.
She was born June 10, 1920, raised in Sabattus, and was a graduate of Sabattus High School. On April 7, 1946, she married Hector Emile Nadeau. They lived for a short time in Lewiston, then, after the birth of their son, Terence, they moved back to Sabattus, their hometown, where she was a homemaker.
