Q: This may seem like a small thing, but it's causing major problems. I'm totally into this girl. We've been seeing other for almost four months, staying over at each others places, etc. We have so much in common, except for one thing. She has a cat, which wouldn't be that bad, except she is totally devoted to it, and it doesn't seem to like me. I try to pet it and it hisses. It climbs on the bed and across our bodies at night, and she won't toss it off. And I don't want to because I don't want to seem cruel or something. I don't want a cat to be the reason to end the relationship, but I'm not sure what else to do.
