AUBURN -- Karen A. Spencer, 68, a resident of Auburn, died Tuesday, July 12, at the Hospice House, following a brief illness, with family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston, April 27, 1943, the daughter of William and Rose A. (Gilbert) Colburn. Karen grew up in East Auburn and was a graduate of Edward Little High School. She married the love of her life, Donald Spencer on July 15, 1960.
