An investigative report by the Maine Human Rights Commission says there are "reasonable grounds" to believe the Maine State Housing Authority refused to provide "reasonable accommodations" to a Monmouth resident.
Ixchel Maybury of Monmouth took legal action against Maine State Housing after her Section 8 housing voucher was terminated at the recommendation of the MSHA. Maybury's residence failed to pass the home inspection, required by the voucher program.See the full content of this document
