Media Women's Holiday Party to Include Anthology Readings

Members of Maine Media Women will hold their annual holiday party at the home of Cheryl McKeary in Washington, Maine, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. Donations of pet food will be collected and distributed to area food banks for distribution to people in need of food for their four-legged family members.

Washington will be a busy place that day as the whole village will be alive with special holiday events. After the party, a number of MMW members will go the nearby Gibbs Library to read from and sign copies of the organization's 60th anniversary anthology, "Jump Lines." This event will begin at 1:30 pm. and run until 2:30. All proceeds from book sales support Maine Media Women scholarships.
