The local KVAC teams are down this year as a group, and that is going to make the conference very competitive within itself, but it will likely struggle on the bigger scale. The Class A schools in the KVAC all find themselves in a race for the conference tournament, where a few lucky teams will advance to the state tournament. Oxford Hills would appear to have an inside track. The Vikings are deep and have experience. Lewiston, under the guidance of a new coach, should be solid in the middle, and will look to develop one strong No. 1 golfer. Edward Little continues to emerge, and should be in every match, while Leavitt continues to rebuild, a few golfers at a time. In the North, Mt.
