Hebron Snowboarders Perform Well at Nationals

Summary


HEBRON - Three Hebron Academy snowboarders performed well at the 2007 United States of America Snowboard Association (USASA) National Championships held last month at the Northstar Resort at Lake Tahoe, Ca. The USASA hosted the competition for freestyle skiers and snowboarders.

They were Senior Gabe Rubinstein of North Yarmouth, 43rd in Halfpipe and 46th in Boardercross in the Junior Men's Division; Freshman Kevin Keough of Cumberland, 17th in Giant Slalom; 22nd in Slalom; 19th in Alpine Combined; and 41st in Boardercross (14th fastest time trial in seeding) in the Youth Men's Division; and Seventh-Grader Matt Braley of Bethel, 31st in Giant Slalom; 34th in Alpine Combined; and 43rd in Slalom in the Breaker Boys Division.
