Godsey Places Second in Ncaa Track Tourney

LISLE, Ill. - Keelin Godsey capped his collegiate athletic career at Bates College by placing second in the shot put at the 2006 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships Saturday at Benedictine University, earning a 16th All-America honor.

Godsey's top throw of 46 feet and 10.25 inches was second only to his rival, Wisconsin-Oshkosh senior Robyn Jarocki, who topped out at 55 feet, 0.25 inches, breaking the Division III record of 52-0.25 formerly held by Bates alumna Liz Wanless.
