NEW VINEYARD -- An early morning fire Thursday in an outside fuel silo at Maine Wood Turning on Route 27 was contained to the silo, Fire Chief Douglas Churchill said.
The fire started in the silo that holds sawdust and wood chips for the mill's boiler. About 25 firefighters were called to the mill in the center of New Vineyard next to the town's Smith Hall at 6:20 a.m., he said.See the full content of this document
