LEWISTON - The Lewiston Public Library will resonate with the sultry sounds of the Louisiana bayous Thursday, Aug. 20, when the celebrated Cajun band Les Freres Michot performs in Callahan Hall.

For the performance - its Maine debut and the only U.S. show on its current tour - the band will play an hourlong concert set, followed by a 15-minute intermission when the chairs will be cleared from the middle of the hall to allow for another hour of waltz tunes and two-steps geared for dancing.
