Diabetes Clinic to Offer Educational Program

BRIDGTON - The Bridgton Hospital Diabetes Clinic will sponsor its four-part diabetes education program from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 27, 29, Nov. 3 and 5 in the hospital clinic wing.

The series requires physician referral, and early registration is suggested. Class size is limited to assure personal attention. Topics will include the importance of exercise and physical activity, healthy meal plans and diabetes, hypoglycemia signs and symptoms, medications to control diabetes, complications and diabetes, diabetes and eye care and diabetes and proper foot care. Medicaid and most insurance plans cover the course registration fee.
