WESTBROOK - For the seventh time in the past nine years, a Maine credit union has received a national award for its community service and member education efforts. Maine Family Federal Credit Union of Lewiston was presented with a first-place Dora Maxwell Award for Social Responsibility at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., recently.
The program, which is coordinated through the Maine Credit Union League and the Credit Union National Association, reviews entries of award winners at the state level to determine the national winners.
