PARIS - Two people were hospitalized with severe head injuries early Thursday morning in what police are calling a brutal home invasion where investigators later discovered more than 90 pounds of marijuana at the home of the victims.

Dwayne Bonney, 47, and his wife Debbie Bonney, 43, were beaten with an unidentified blunt object just after 5 a.m. Thursday after being surprised in their bed by two masked assailants who stormed the couple's mobile home at 73 Bisco Road, according to a statement by the Maine State Police on Friday.
