LEWISTON - The Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District has received a $3,000 matching grant from Farm Credit Northeast.
The grant was provided on behalf of the Farm Credit institutions that serve agriculture and rural businesses in the Northeast. It will be used to match funding received from other agencies for an innovative pilot project to establish a soils carbon baseline for the state.
