LEWISTON - Claire M. Allard, of Lewiston went to be with the Lord on July 15, after a short, but courageous battle with lung cancer.
She was born in Hudson, Mass., Sept. 9, 1929, the daughter of Leo Lerette and Adrienne Gagnon. She moved to Lewiston at a young age, where she attended St. Joseph's School and Lewiston High School. At the age of 15, she began her lifelong career as a waitress. She married the late Lawrence Michaud in 1946, with whom she shared four wonderful children.
