As pictured above, five high school students represented the following candidates in the Democrat debate recently held at Central Maine Christian Academy. They were Roland Chabot, as Dennis Uucinich; Peter Field for Hillary Clinton; Ashley Fenderson for Bill Richardson; Stuart Lindahl as Barrack Obama and Amanda Fenderson for John Edwards. Mrs. Paquette, our history teacher, acted as moderator.

The opening speeches were moving, especially by Obama, Hillary, and Dennis, who gave Hillary a box of tissue. The first issue discussed was the debt that our country is facing. Many people were in agreement with Mrs. Clinton to reduce the taxes for the middle class.
