DIXFIELD - Alyssa Charity ripped an RBI single in the seventh inning to lift Dirigo to a 6-5 victory over Livermore Falls in a MVC softball matchup Thursday.

Charity went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Cougars (1-0) and had three RBIs. Trailing by two runs going into the seventh, Katrinia Pulk helped Dirigo tie the contest when she drove in Nikki Berry.
